Kilimanjaro photo wins contest
Sorry for the silence. I was out backpacking in Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. I'm finally getting caught up now and had to share this. I know this is a bit off topic from our typical Kilimanjaro adventure travel and trekking related content. But this is a GREAT picture.

You are correct. This photo was shot while on safari in Amboseli National Park, Kenya. The photo was taken around December 28th, 2008. I was lucky enough to have this nice day with clear views of Kilimanjaro. I worked a lot with the driver to position myself in front of a nice grouping of zebras that didn't immediately disperse.
